While dental emergencies are rare, they can happen, and it's important to know how to take care of your teeth no matter what. Common dental emergencies include:
- Broken or cracked tooth/teeth
- Broken jaw
- Permanent tooth knocked out ( if possible, a tooth that has been evulsed should either be placed inside the mouth between cheek and gum or in milk and seek immediate dental attention.There is often success in re-implanting teeth)
- Object caught between teeth
- Severe toothache
